eve teasing

http://knownturf.blogspot.com/2006/03/streets-stories-strategies.html

very poignant. eve teasing exists everywhere and sadly every girl i know has been thru some horrid experience... among life's many lessons. sadly acceptance comes with time and it has made me feel like scum so many times fr not turning back and beating the guy to a pulp. i hope this post(link above) will reform those who read it...

being wise is the key...a frnd of mine has faced probs in a potentially unsafe area which she has to pass thru regularly, where anykind of defence wud hav invited serious trouble.n we dont know what can be practically done here...while another frnd of mine has actually invited public attn twice at places like railway station...n got the perverts buked

"i hope this post(link above) will reform the men who read it..."
Does men mean 'people who harass' in your lexicon??? There are people(like me), who are sensible. So please do not genaralise. Or may be you should rephrase the sentence...

Its at such times one is ashamed to be a man...... but remember when one girl tolerates harrassment she makes way for two more to be harrassed..... i know it sounds cliche but as you wrote "it has made me feel like scum so many times fr not turning back and beating the guy to a pulp" do that we guys will pee in our pants, cos one beating you stop ten men from even thinking about it.
